Join us at The Blue Market for Bermondsey’s annual Celebration of St. George Around the World with art, storytelling and dance on Saturday 20th April from 12pm to 3pm. Free activities, everyone is welcome!

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us at The Blue Market for Bermondsey’s annual Celebration of St. George Around the World. Immerse yourself in the festivities with traditional storytelling, and captivating dance performances.

All activities are free, and everyone is welcome.

Family Craft Workshop / 12:00pm – 3:00pm with Frog Morris and Friends

Engage in interactive craft activities suitable for all ages and create memorable keepsakes with your loved ones.

Belly Dancing Display and Workshop / 1:00pm

Witness a mesmerizing belly dancing performance and then join in a workshop to learn the art of this ancient dance form with Katie Alyce and friends.

St. George’s Day Play / 2:30pm

Step back in time and join us for a community theatrical performance inspired by the legend of St. George. Parents and children are encouraged to participate by creating their own helmets and armour during the workshop and join in the play’s festivities.
