Let’s Make Music and Dance event is a tribute to the King Charles III’s Coronation, where people can come together and celebrate with music, dance, and art. The event is free and open to everyone.
Blue Bermondsey BID in partnership with The Unity Music Arts Team CIC and Big Local Works, invites everyone to join in on this community music event on Saturday 29th April 2023 at The Blue Market in South Bermondsey, London. The event will be a fun-filled celebration of King Charles’s Coronation.
FREE ACTIVITIES
Activities take place from 12noon until 5pm.
Live Music with Unity Music Arts Team
- Trombone Quartet playing fanfares and music for the new King
- Salsa Dance celebrating Bermondsey’s multicultural heritage
- ‘Kitch In Sync’ fun loving a cappella choir performing hit songs classic pop hits from 80s, 90s and 00s.
Royal Family Art Tent
- Decorate The Blue ready for the Coronation
- Make your own crown and be King or Queen of Bermondsey with Frog Morris and friends
Tim’s Bike Workshop
- Affordable bike repairs and learn how to maintain your own bike with Tim, supported by National Lottery Community Fund
Our Plastic, Our Thames
- Help artist Hannah make artwork from discarded plastic to highlight the local impact of plastic pollution.
